Wonderful place. Awesome staff. Food is unbelievably great, presentation. Wow. The second time here is absolutely delicious . This place is always busy, and reservations are recommended. Always busy. Close to the square. Lovely staff and food is photo perfect . Update January 18th, 2024, another great meal. Super busy, reservations recommended. So accommodating. So, new photos were added.

Wow! This restaurant was absolutely DELICIOUS! The service was EXCELLENT, the location, and the decor was impecable. I am Vegetarian and they have really good selection of wholesome dishes (rare find). Side note: They only accept cash). Don’t think twice, food is awesome!

This was our 2nd visit to Teocintle and it was much better than the first over a year ago. We thought the restaurant was over-hyped, but not anymore. The food and service were top notch and friendly. We really enjoyed our corn potato soup and shrimp risotto. The wine and tequila we ordered were tasty and fair priced. We sat downstairs but they have a cute upstairs dining area as well that we may try on our next visit. We will certainly give it another try based on this experience. 4.5-stars.

Went here a couple times after stumbling upon it. It is definitely high quality cuisine. They change the menu frequently but it’s always exciting and fresh. Would recommend if you’re looking for upscale dining in Ajijic!

My family and I came to visit my mom here in Ajijic. She was dying to take us to Teocintle, her favorite spot to eat. We arrived later than expected and so we hadn’t made a reservation. The staff was kind enough to squeeze us into their Friday night dinner crowd and we sat upstairs on the patio getting to look at the views as the sun set. Service from Ricardo was amazing. Great recommendations, service, and atmosphere. Gloria and her team in the kitchen were superb. For the appetizer we ordered the coconut shrimp which we all loved. My grandpa ordered bacon wrapped pork loin prepared with a fruity tangy tangerine sauce. My mom got the special which was a coconut crusted fish with a cream almond sauce. Delish. I ordered a birria style pork shank which they prepared beautifully with beans, rice, and pickled onions. Ricardo brought up some maiz tortillas and that was a great way to eat my meal. I recommend this place to anyone near Ajijic. We’ll be back!
